Because Pineapple & Bee patterns have been designed from original sources, it is recommend that you create a mock-up of all patterns using similar fabrics/materials, that you will be using to construct your finished piece in. By sewing a mock-up you can check for fit and make adjustments before cutting your fashion fabric. Information regarding sizing/fit is printed on each pattern, please see individual pattern descriptions for further details. If the pattern is for clothing, it has been designed to be worn over undergarments such as a chemise, corset, hoop, bustle, petticoats, etc.
For crochet patterns, we recommend crocheting a test piece to check crochet gauge.
Most Pineapple & Bee patterns include a 1/2” seam allowance. However, please see individual patterns for more information as this can vary by pattern.
