The Pineapple & Bee Pattern Company specializes in creating patterns for historical hats, bonnets, and accessories. All patterns have been drafted from 18th to early 20th century originals and researched to provide you with the best possible designs.

All of our patterns have been created with special attention to detail and made for a variety of skill levels, keeping in mind historical accuracy. By purchasing patterns from us, you can feel confident in knowing that the items created from our patterns can be used for living history events, museums, theatre productions, or just to add a little history to your life!

Meet the Designer

Making history come alive…

Christina Joy is the Lead Designer and Owner of the Pineapple & Bee Pattern Company. She has received many awards and accolades for her work and experience in heritage trades including millinery, sewing, bookbinding and weaving. With 25+ years of experience in the living history field as a Historical Interpreter, Re-enactor and Tailoress in a c. 1860’s Tailor Shop, she created the Pineapple & Bee Pattern Company, to share her love of history; and as a way to preserve the arts and crafts of times long past.
